The RADEP Program

The Reckless/Aggressive Driver Education Program (RADEP) is a specialized course designed for drivers who have received citations for non-alcohol-related reckless or aggressive driving offenses. This program fulfills court orders or DMV mandates, helping you satisfy legal requirements, potentially reduce points on your record, and learn crucial defensive driving techniques to stay safer on the road. We offer both a foundational 4-hour track and a comprehensive 12-hour track depending on your specific court or DMV requirements.

Virginia’s 4-Hour Supplemental Reckless & Aggressive Driving Program (RADEP)

Program Fee – $70

If a court has ordered you to complete a 12-hour Reckless and Aggressive Driving Education Program (RADEP), this 4-hour supplemental course is designed for you.

When combined with a standard 8-hour Virginia driver improvement clinic, this course fulfills your total 12-hour requirement. It specifically targets high-speed reckless driving to build safer, long-term driving habits.

Key Details & Eligibility

  • The 12-Hour Formula: You must complete this 4-hour course plus an approved 8-hour Virginia driving school to satisfy the 12-hour court mandate.

  • Court & Legal Prep: This course is ideal if you were ordered by a judge or advised by your attorney to complete a 12-hour program prior to your court date to demonstrate accountability.

  • No DMV Credits: This course is strictly for court requirements. It does not satisfy DMV administrative mandates and will not award you +5 safe driving points. Completing it shows the court you are genuinely focused on corrective action.

  • Affordable Pricing: Specialized 4-hour programs can be prohibitively expensive. We keep our tuition highly competitive so that crucial defensive driving education remains accessible to everyone.

Completion & Certification

Upon finishing the program, your official 4-Hour Supplemental Certificate will be emailed directly to you. Presenting both this certificate and your 8-hour defensive driving school certificate will serve as legal proof that you have fully satisfied Virginia’s 12-hour RADEP requirement

Virginia’s 12-Hour Reckless & Aggressive Driving Education Program (RADEP)

Program Fee – $240

Welcome to Virginia’s comprehensive 12-hour RADEP. This complete program is designed to create a lasting, corrective influence on your driving habits. While it covers essential highway safety fundamentals, it specifically focuses on correcting reckless and aggressive driving behaviors.

Key Details & Eligibility

  • The Full 12-Hour Program: This comprehensive course combines a standard 8-hour driver improvement curriculum with RADEP’s specialized 4-hour reckless driving modules.

  • Court & Legal Prep: This course is designed for drivers who have been ordered by a court to complete a 12-hour program, or those whose attorneys advised them to take it before their court date to demonstrate accountability to the judge.

  • No DMV Credits: This program is strictly for court or legal purposes. It does not satisfy DMV administrative mandates and will not award you +5 safe driving points. Completing it shows the court your only motive is genuine self-education and behavioral change.

  • Affordable Pricing: Specialized traffic safety courses can be prohibitively expensive. We keep our tuition highly competitive so that advanced defensive driving education remains accessible to everyone.
